Honda has unveiled a new SUV that's more than a family utility vehicle. The new 2023 Honda CR-V improves on the CR-V's strengths, enhancing handling, comfort, safety, and fuel efficiency with its hybrid engine technology. The 2023 Honda CR-V also stands out for its exceptional interior refinements as well as its brand-new Body Stabilizing seats that make the new CR-V even better.
The new Honda CR-V delivers more space and more comfort than ever before. This new design builds on the success and elegance of the previous CR-V both inside and out. It uses high-quality materials that exude an elegant vibe, while the overall size of the CR-V still maintains the right proportions to navigate confidently in traffic or parking lots. The redesigned CR-V has 15.2 mm more legroom. Rear seats can now recline up to 8 degrees.
The new 2023 Honda CR-V, already one of the largest compact SUVs in its class, is even more spacious with this latest generation. It has more cargo space than any previous CR-V, with 1,028 L. You can also lower the load floor to increase that space further to 1,112 litres. To open up the full 2,166 litres of cargo space, the seatbacks can be folded 60/40.
The big news for the new CR-V, however, is the introduction of a new hybrid powertrain. The new hybrid engine features a powerful combination of a 2.0-litre four cylinder engine with an Atkinson Cycle and a pair of electric motors. The total output is rated at 204 horsepower and torque is 247 pound-feet. This Honda CR-V is the most powerful ever made. However, the fuel economy rating will be lower than 6,0 litres/100 km.
The previous CR-V's 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder engine is still available and produces 190 horsepower. But what sets this unit apart is its refinements that make it more efficient and more environmentally-friendly.
The new Honda CR-V 2023 will be available later in the year!
